About the Designers

Orchestra of Pearls is a collaborative body of wearable art created by jewelry artists Lynda Froehlich and Ruth Arussi.

The collection brings together two distinct artistic languages: Lynda’s expressive sculptural approach to sterling silver and Ruth’s refined training as a goldsmith and silversmith. Through this collaboration, metal, gemstones, and pearls are composed with the sensitivity of sculpture and the precision of fine craftsmanship.

Lynda Froehlich is known for her original hand-sculpted sterling silver technique, developed through decades of artistic practice. Her work transforms silver into fluid, dimensional forms that surround high-grade genuine faceted gemstones and handpicked freshwater pearls. Each composition is shaped intuitively, with an emphasis on movement, balance, texture, and natural form.

Ruth Arussi contributes the discipline and structural mastery of traditional metalsmithing. Her technical knowledge, precision soldering, and carefully constructed silver foundations give strength and permanence to the sculptural elements of each design.

Together, the artists created Orchestra of Pearls as a study in harmony. Luminous pearls, precious and semiprecious gemstones, and sculptured sterling silver are arranged like individual notes within a larger composition—each element distinct, yet inseparable from the whole.

Every piece is individually conceived and entirely handcrafted. No molds or mass-production methods are used, and no two creations can be exactly duplicated. The subtle variations found within the pearls, gemstones, and sculptured metal become part of the identity of each work.

Positioned between fine jewelry and contemporary art, Orchestra of Pearls is intended not simply as adornment, but as a collection of intimate sculptures made to be worn, experienced, and preserved.
